Governor of St. Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko signed a letter of resignation from Vice-Governor Sergei Kozyrev.
Reference:
1987 to 1992 served in command positions in the Far East. From 1995 to 1997 - chief of staff of the regiment in the Leningrad region. Since 2000, he has been the director of the Savings Non-State Pension Fund.
In 1990, by Decree of the President of the USSR, he was awarded the Order of the Red Star.
In December 2001, in Roshinsky constituency No. 15, he was elected a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Leningrad Region of the third convocation .
He worked as Deputy Chairman of the Permanent Commission on Economics, Property and Investments.
On August 22, 2005, he took up the post of Vice-Governor of the Leningrad Region, Chief of Staff of the Governor and the Government of the Leningrad Region.
On September 14, 2011, he was approved as Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg.
Since 2012, he has headed the Committee for the Development of Transport Infrastructure (CTTI).
