Russian President Vladimir Putin expanded the composition of the commission on the strategy for the development of the fuel and energy complex and environmental safety, including the Minister of Internal Affairs Vladimir Kolokoltsev and the head of the foreign intelligence service Mikhail Fradkov. In addition, the commission includes the Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Agricultural and Food Policy and Environmental Management Gennady Gorbunov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Grigory Karasin, Rector of the Mining University Vladimir Litvinenko, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Property Issues Yuri Petrov.
From Roman Trotsenko, ex-president of the United Shipbuilding Corporation, was excluded from the commission by decree.
