By order of the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Valery Shantsev, Vladimir Nefedov was appointed Minister of Industry and Innovation of the region, the governor’s press service reported. He will take office as minister on January 11, 2011. Until this time, Igor Sazonov remains acting regional minister. Nefedov's candidacy was supported by the association of industrialists and entrepreneurs of the Nizhny Novgorod region.
Vladimir Valentinovich Nefedov was born on August 5, 1953 in the village. Derzhavino, Buzulu district, Orenburg region.
Graduated from the Gorky Anti-Aircraft Missile Air Defense School, Minsk Higher Engineering Anti-Aircraft Missile School of Air Defense with a degree in "Military Radio Engineer".
