Nenets Autonomous Okrug Governor Igor Fedorov met with Bashneft President Igor Korsik in Naryan-Mar

A delegation of JSC ANK visited the Nenets Autonomous Okrug on a working visit ;Bashneft" led by the recently appointed president of this company, Alexander Korsik. The new composition of the management of Bashneft includes: visited the area for the first time. Let us remind you that Bashneft develops the country's largest fields with oil reserves of 110 million tons – named after Trebs and Titov, located in the east of the Nenets Okrug south of the village of Varandey. Today, the governor of the district, Igor Fedorov, held an official meeting with the president of Bashneft Alexander Korsik, First Vice President for Exploration and Production of JSOC Bashneft Mikhail Stavsky and General Director of Bashneft Polyus LLC Vitaly Litvinenko.
At the beginning of the meeting, Igor Fedorov explained the specifics of the polar region and the specifics of a separate subject of the Russian Federation – Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Everyone is concerned about the question of what will change in the territory with the arrival of a large subsoil user, or more precisely, how Bashneft will affect for the development of the infrastructure of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, what social and economic projects the company can support.
At the meeting, the head of Bashneft noted that the company is committed to constructive relations with the Nenets Autonomous Okrug and is ready to provide social support to the territory, despite the fact that the company is currently carrying out seismic and geological work. The first oil is planned to be produced in 2012.
The parties discussed plans for cooperation on the development of the territory. In the priority projects of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug – arrangement of a winter road, construction of 83 km of the Naryan-Mar road – Usinsk, implementation of the Electronic District program.
