Gazprom is studying the extension of the Turkish Stream through Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, Austria to Baumgarten

"Gazprom" published the parameters of the terms of reference for the contractor OOO "NIIgazekonomika" for the implementation of a pre-investment study "Feasibility study of options for continuing the Turkish Stream project" on the territory of European countries".

The purpose of the work is "selection of the optimal configuration of projects for the creation of new and expansion of existing gas transmission capacities in Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary and Austria, necessary for the supply and transit of Russian gas through the territory these countries". The end point of the route being developed is the Baumgarten hub in Austria, writes & quot "Interfax".

It is required to analyze the existing GTS in Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary and Austria, as well as to analyze the possibility of using previously developed options for gas pipeline routes in the countries under consideration with a view to their possible application in projects.

The route options will be compared "by the criteria of project duration and total discounted costs". The research budget is the minimum for consulting purchases by Gazprom - 1.77 million rubles. The result of the work should be "presentation materials, a brief report on the results of the pre-investment study in Russian and English." consists of two threads. Each line can transport up to 15.75 billion cubic meters of natural gas. m (total - 31.5 billion cubic meters). The length of the offshore section is approximately 930 km. The gas pipeline runs along the bottom of the Black Sea from the Russian Anapa to the Turkish settlement of Kiyikoy. The gas supplied through the first line is intended for the Turkish market. The second line will run in the direction of Turkey's border with the EU.
