Orenburgneft produced the 600 millionth ton of oil

The cumulative production of PJSC "Orenburgneft", a subsidiary of NK "Rosneft", has reached 600 million tons of oil since the beginning of the operation of the enterprise in 1937.

"Orenburgneft" – the largest oil and gas producing enterprise in the Orenburg region, operates on 130 licensed areas, 116 fields are being developed. About 2.7 thousand wells provide an average daily oil production of more than 41 thousand tons per day.

High production rates are achieved by drilling new wells, carrying out a complex of geological and technical measures and applying new oil production technologies . More than a hundred wells are expected to be built by the end of this year. One of the factors of additional production in PJSC "Orenburgneft" is the implementation of the well reconstruction program by sidetracking and hydraulic fracturing operations.

is to increase the resource base. In 2016 alone, six license blocks were acquired with total oil resources of about 90 million tons. Based on the results of geological exploration work in 2016, Orenburgneft increased recoverable oil reserves of industrial categories by 29 million tons.

The development of the promising Volostnovsko-Zemlyansky cluster is proceeding at a faster pace. In 2017 Novozhohovskoe, Zapadno-Kulaginskoye, Yuzhno-Kulaginskoye, Vostochno-Kulaginskoye, Kindelskoye and Bakhtiyarovskoye fields.

Orenburgneft maintains a leading position among the fuel and energy complex enterprises of the region due to efficient production and the implementation of the policy of the Rosneft Company; in the field of labor protection and industrial safety. Activities of "Orenburgneft" certified according to international standards: «Occupational safety and production management system– OHSAS 18001:2007" and "Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2004".

For several years now, the enterprise has been the owner of the gold mark "Leader of the economy of the Orenburg region". In 2016 Orenburgneft was recognized as a laureate in the Environmental Responsibility nomination.
