JSC ANK "Bashneft" On August 17, it held public hearings on preliminary materials for the environmental impact assessment (EIA) during the implementation of the project for the development of the fields named after. Roman Trebs and Anatoly Titov (T&T project) in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Representatives of regional and municipal authorities, public organizations, reindeer herding farms, experts, scientists, and media representatives took part in the public hearings.
On behalf of JSOC Bashneft Director of the Department for Prospective Development of Oil and Gas Production Konstantin Chetverkin greeted the audience. A presentation on the project development strategy was made by Vitaly Litvinenko, General Director of the operating company Bashneft-Polyus LLC. About the technical solutions that Bashneft will use in the process of arrangement and development of deposits named after. R. Trebs and A. Titov, Vitaly Protopopov, Deputy General Director of the BashNIPIneft Institute, said in his report. – general contractor for field development design. Materials for assessing the environmental impact during the implementation of the T&T project were presented to the public by Yuri Mashkin, General Director of the Center for Environmental Design, Engineering and Innovation LLC.
The presented materials, in accordance with the law, were available for review for a month to members of the public in the administration of the Zapolyarny district of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, on the territory of which the fields are located, as well as on the official website of JSOC Bashneft. During the discussion, expert assessments and comments were made, and questions were asked to the speakers. Based on the results of public hearings, a protocol will be prepared, on the basis of which the necessary adjustments can be made to the EIA materials.
