Russia and China plan coordinated development of the Far East

The protocol on the establishment of an intergovernmental commission for cooperation and development of the Russian Far East and the Northeast of the PRC is planned to be adopted during the visit of Premier of the State Council of the PRC Li Keqiang to St. Petersburg and his talks with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. From the Russian side, they will be attended by First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, Deputy Prime Ministers Olga Golodets, Arkady Dvorkovich, Dmitry Rogozin, Yuri Trutnev, Minister of Natural Resources Sergei Donskoy, Head Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, Minister of Energy Alexander Novak, Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov, heads of Rosatom, RDIF, Russian Railways, "Gazprom" and Rosneft.
As a result of the talks, it is planned to sign a number of joint documents, including — protocol on the establishment of an intergovernmental commission for cooperation and development of the Far East and Northeast of China.
Documents are also being prepared for signing through Gazprom, Russian Railways, Rosneft, and Vnesheconombank.
