The company "PCF "Geo Engineering" in partnership with "FIDMASH" has created an autonomous technical solution. The equipment is intended for restoration work in oil and gas wells.
Technical characteristics of the development:
• full automation of production operations;
• Modular architecture ensures versatility of application;
• compatible with flexible pipes of increased cross-section;
• Traction capacity exceeds 63 tons.
Control tests were held in the capital of Bashkortostan on August 21. The testing was organized by the "Unified Test Operator". The event was attended by specialists from the largest mining enterprises.
Field trials are scheduled for the final quarter of the year. This will be the final stage of technical validation.The development is included in the list of 220 strategically important positions in the oil and gas sector. These technologies are critical in terms of reducing dependence on foreign supplies.Coiled tubing technologies are a method of repairing wells using a continuous flexible pipe. This approach significantly reduces the work time. Traditional methods require stopping mining for a long period of time. The new installation minimizes equipment downtime.The modular design allows the system to be adapted to different field conditions. Operators have the opportunity to quickly reconfigure equipment. This increases the economic efficiency of operation.
The "synergy of expertise" of the GEF Geo Engineering and the technological capabilities of FIDMASH has produced an outstanding result. The support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade contributed to the implementation of a breakthrough project for the industry. The initiative demonstrates fruitful cooperation with the partner state in pursuit of technological superiority," commented Mikhail Kuznetsov, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering for the Fuel and Energy Complex.
The successful implementation of the project strengthens Russia&s technological sovereignty in the oil and gas sector. Domestic manufacturers receive a competitive alternative to imported equipment.
