12.08.2025
Sergey Tsivilev and Vladislav Khovalyg held a meeting dedicated to the development of energy in the Republic of Tuva. They discussed key projects in electricity and heat supply. The basis for the modernization is a Comprehensive Energy Supply Plan approved in 2021. New facilities, including modern power transmission lines, are scheduled to be launched this year.
A program to improve the reliability of power grids was also discussed, which is important due to the 9% annual increase in energy consumption. To meet the demand, it was decided to build new lines until 2027, which will avoid a shortage of capacity until 2030. The issues of choosing an electricity supplier and reducing emissions in Kyzyl were considered. Sergey Tsivilev stressed the importance of initiatives for sustainable energy development and expressed his willingness to support their implementation. In conclusion, Vladislav Khovalyg invited Tsivilev to visit Tuva to familiarize himself with the projects and participate in a strategic meeting.
