The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation has announced the restoration of planned supplies of energy equipment for energy companies. This statement was made as part of a speech by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Anton Alikhanov, to the Federation Council.
Reasons for Delays in Deliveries
According to Alikhanov, the main reasons for delays in the supply of energy equipment were the sanctions imposed on Russia and technological difficulties that arose against the background of disrupted logistics chains. These factors have significantly affected the work of machine-building enterprises, in particular, companies belonging to the Power Machines group.
Removing Obstacles and Restoring the Delivery Schedule
However, according to Alikhanov, at the moment all the obstacles that caused delays have been eliminated. Power Machines, UEC, and other power equipment manufacturers have confirmed their readiness to ensure the production and supply of all necessary product ranges. This means that the supply of energy equipment has returned to the adjusted schedule, which is a positive signal for the energy sector.
Agreement on the Development of a Ten-Year Plan
The Ministry of Industry and Trade, together with the Ministry of Energy, agreed to develop a ten-year plan for the commissioning of new generating capacities. This plan includes coordinating the actions of energy equipment manufacturers to meet the needs of the energy sector for the necessary equipment.
Conditions for Power Engineering Enterprises
In order for power engineering enterprises to work effectively in the new conditions, it is necessary to conduct competitive selections of generation projects, prepayment and conclusion of agreements for the supply of specific types of equipment. Alikhanov stressed that the production facilities for the implementation of the energy strategy are fully ready, which gives grounds for optimistic forecasts regarding the future of the energy sector.
In general, the statement by the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the restoration of energy equipment supplies is an important step towards the stabilization and development of the energy sector. The removal of obstacles related to sanctions restrictions and logistical problems, as well as the willingness of manufacturers to provide the necessary equipment, create conditions for the successful implementation of the energy strategy and the commissioning of new generating capacities.
