An interregional cluster of oil and gas equipment has been created in the Tambov region

The regional Administration has announced the formation of a large-scale production association in the field of oil and gas engineering. The alliance includes eight plants from four regions of Russia: Tambov, Ryazan, Voronezh and Chelyabinsk regions. The enterprises specialize in the production of parts, components, pumps, boilers and steam installations. The partners plan to implement three joint projects for the production of high-demand products for the oil and gas engineering industry. The idea of creating an industrial association belongs to the Michurinsk company Neftemash-Service. This company has become a key coordinator of the new alliance.

The cluster members plan to launch three large-scale production initiatives. The projects are aimed at replacing foreign technologies with domestic developments. The companies will focus on the production of highly demanded equipment for the oil and gas industry. The merger opens up additional financial opportunities for the participants. Enterprises are eligible to apply for state support from the federal treasury. The amount of subsidies reaches 150 million rubles. The funds are planned to be used for the technical re-equipment of production facilities. The financing will also cover the costs of developing new types of products. This will allow the cluster members to significantly expand the range of manufactured equipment.

The creation of such industrial associations helps strengthen Russia&s technological independence in strategically important sectors of the economy. The cluster approach increases the competitiveness of domestic producers in domestic and international markets.
