"Azimuth-1" - a new chemical carrier from USC shipbuilders
30.04.2025

The multifunctional transport vessel was developed by designers of the Nevsky Design Bureau, which is part of the USC structure. The river-sea chemical tanker is designed to transport various liquid cargoes. Its holds carry unrefined oil, various petroleum products without restrictions on flash point temperatures, and molasses. The technical equipment allows for the safe transportation of hazardous liquid substances. Some cargoes require heating to +60 degrees Celsius. The vessel's design allows for the simultaneous transportation of up to three different types of liquids.
Astrakhan shipbuilders USC built the "Azimut-1" as the second in the series. The first tanker of Project 00216M was delivered to the customer in 2023
