Denis Manturov visited Izhneftemash and Votkinsky plant in Udmurtia

During a working trip to Udmurtia, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov conducted a large-scale inspection of industrial facilities in the region. Particular attention was paid to the development of the defense industry and the oil and gas industry.
The key point of the visit was a visit to JSC Votkinsk Plant. This enterprise, part of the Roscosmos state corporation, is a modern production complex. In 2024, the plant's team received the Order "For Valiant Labor" for contribution to strengthening the country's economic potential.
The company "Unmanned Systems" attracted considerable interest. It specializes in the development of Supercam drones. These devices are actively used in the civil and defense sectors. Over the past three years, production has increased tenfold. Localization of production has reached 70%.
Particular attention was paid to PAO "Izhneftemash". The company occupies a leading position in the production of equipment for oil production. It produces pumping units, pumps and special equipment for work in fields. The company is actively developing new production areas.
During the meeting with the head of the region, Alexander Brechalov, the prospects for creating a research and production center for unmanned systems were discussed. The region received a recommendation to participate in a federal competition to receive subsidies to equip the center in 2026.
Denis Manturov noted the positive dynamics of industrial development in Udmurtia. Despite the high key rate, the region retains growth potential. All agreements reached will be worked out by relevant departments and development institutes.
Alexander Brechalov emphasized the importance of federal support for the development of industry in the region: "Our factories continue to successfully restructure their production, enter new sales markets and increase volumes.The enterprises of the republic are ready to cover the needs of the residents of the region and the country in the sphere of the military-industrial complex, mechanical engineering, the oil industry and many other industries."
