Samara KVOiT Plant entered the Register of Basic Suppliers of the Fuel and Energy Complex. In the section Oil and Gas Processing the enterprise is presented in the group: "Tank equipment" . Joint-stock company "Samara Plant of Boiler and Auxiliary Equipment and Pipelines" (JSC "SZ KVOiT") is an enterprise with a long history.

It was founded in 1959 as a basic enterprise of the Ministry of Energy to provide thermal and nuclear power plants with pipeline parts, tanks, and reservoirs.

Today, JSC “SZ KVOiT” is one of the five largest industry companies operating in the markets of Russia and the CIS countries.

The accumulated experience allowed JSC "SZ KVOiT" to become a diversified enterprise with advanced technologies in the production, assembly and design of products, as well as carrying out construction and installation works from the foundation to the commissioning of the facility. The Samara KVOiT plant produces vertical steel tanks (RVS) and hot water storage tanks (BAGV) with a volume of 100 mᶾ to 120,000 mᶾ using sheet and roll assembly methods.

RVS is a vertical steel tank of cylindrical shape. The tanks are used for receiving, storing, recording and dispensing all types of liquids for commercial, household or technological purposes.

The RVS tank is the basis of tank farms of enterprises in the logistics, oil producing, chemical, agricultural, food and metallurgical industries. Its design is unique, which is why the construction of RVS prevails over other methods of tank construction.
