At a meeting with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, CEO of PJSC Inter RAO Sergey Dregval noted: "In September of this year, we created the company Inter RAO - Mechanical Engineering, which included both the enterprises that we acquired earlier (these are Modern Technologies of Gas Turbines in the Leningrad Region, Russian Gas Turbines, Voronezh Transformer, Nevsky Transformer), and those acquired this year: the Ural Turbine Works - the flagship of domestic production of steam turbines and NPO Elsib - one of the leaders in the production of generators for the electric power industry.
As of today, our order portfolio has already been formed in the amount of 142 billion rubles in Energomash with plans to increase it to 200 billion rubles by the end of the year."
Dregval then informed the Prime Minister: "the company "Inter RAO - Mashinostroenie" is ready for serial production of domestically produced gas turbines, medium-power turbines, within three years. Unfortunately, very few of these turbines are currently produced in our country. I believe that this will be a significant contribution to solving problems in the field of technological sovereignty."
