Curator of import substitution and scientific and technological progress leaves Rosneft

As Kommersant has learned, one of Rosneft's key top managers, 65-year-old Vice President of the oil company Andrei Shishkin, has left the company. Mr. Shishkin worked at the company for 12 years and oversaw energy, localization, and innovation issues, among other things. In particular, the top manager was responsible for the construction of the Zvezda shipyard and was also the first head of Bashneft immediately after its purchase by Rosneft.
Rosneft Vice President for IT, Innovation, and Localization Andrei Shishkin has left the company, several Kommersant sources familiar with the situation said. According to Kommersant, Konstantin Laptev, director of Rosneft's department for localization of equipment and technology, has been appointed to perform his duties. At Rosneft, Mr. Shishkin also oversaw the energy department (headed by Vasily Nikonov) and the department of scientific and technical development and innovation.
