Gusevsky Valve Plant "Gusar" Entered the Register of Basic Suppliers of the Fuel and Energy Complex

OOO “Gusevsky Valve Plant “Gusar” was included in the Register of Basic Suppliers of the Fuel and Energy Complex. In the section Oil and Gas Processing the enterprise is presented in the group: Pipeline Valves.

OOO “Gusar” is one of the leading manufacturers of pipeline valves. Leading engineers with more than ten years of experience in mechanical engineering participated in the creation of the enterprise. When establishing the work of "Gusar", they used the latest achievements in the field of technology, engineering, management and personnel policy.

 

Since its foundation, "Gusar" has evolved from a small plant into one of the largest enterprises in Russia for the production of fittings. Currently, the area of �‹�‹the plant is 24 hectares, and the number of its staff has reached 1,071 people. One of the indicators of the efficient use of all types of resources is the output per employee at the plant today is 2-4 times higher than at similar enterprises. In February 2018, "Gusar" opened its own foundry with an area of �‹�‹20 thousand square meters. m, with a capacity of 7-8 thousand tons per year.

 

The plant's foundry is equipped with the latest equipment: melting and heat-treatment furnaces, a molding line, and a shot blasting machine. Pattern equipment is manufactured on three- and five-axis CNC machines using CAD/CAM/CAE design systems. Castings are designed using specialized software for simulating solidification conditions.

 

Advantages of foundry production:

• In-house design bureau - design of castings using crystallization modeling programs;

• Manufacturing of model equipment on CNC machines - reducing production time and increasing dimensional accuracy;

• Using chromite sand in the facing mixture �” improving the quality of the casting surface and increasing the density of the metal, preventing shrinkage porosity;

• Control of smelting furnaces using software �” improving the quality of the metal;

• Pouring molds from stopper ladles �” preventing defects such as "slag shell" in castings;

• Thermal furnaces with software control �” uniform temperature distribution in the furnace, which improves the quality of heat treatment.

• Control is carried out at all stages of the production process with the entry of data into factory logs and an electronic database.
