Rostec Wants to Postpone Turbine Launch in Taman

Rostec may not be able to launch the third power unit at the Udarnaya TPP in Taman, which uses its own GTD-110M turbine, by September. According to Kommersant, the state corporation has asked the government to once again postpone the launch of the power unit by three months, until December 1, citing the unavailability of Russian-made auxiliary equipment. Rostec needs to postpone the launch date in order not to lose three months of revenue for capacity in the amount of more than 2 billion rubles. The current launch date for the unit based on the GTD-110M turbine manufactured by the United Engine Corporation (part of Rostec) is September 1.
