According to Kommersant, the company is at an advanced stage of negotiations to purchase the manufacturer of electric motors, generators and transformers for the electric power industry, Elsib, controlled by SUEK. The market value of the asset is estimated at 10–13 billion rubles. Purchase of "Elsib" Inter RAO will allow close the chain of production of equipment for thermal power plants in the machine-building portfolio, analysts believe.
