Private security at fuel and energy facilities was allowed to shoot down drones

Private security at fuel and energy complex (FEC) facilities will be able to destroy drones. This was done in order to strengthen anti-terrorism protection and security. The corresponding law was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin. «It [the law] gives private security of fuel and energy complex facilities the right to suppress the operation of unmanned aircraft, underwater and surface vessels and vehicles, unmanned vehicles and other automated unmanned systems», — says the law.
