The XV International Youth Scientific and Practical Congress “Oil and Gas Horizons” opens in November

Registration for the XV International Youth Scientific and Practical Congress “Oil and Gas Horizons” is open. The Congress takes place from November 28 to December 1 at the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) named after I.M. Gubkin in Moscow. Organizer — student chapter of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Congress theme: “Digital solutions: a step into the future of the oil and gas industry.”
The program includes: technical sessions, technical lectures, plenary session, career fair, Petro-Olympic Games, technical case, round tables and cultural program.

As part of the Congress, participants are offered the following technical sessions:
- Geology, search and exploration of oil and gas fields
- Drilling and injection of wells
- Development of gas fields
- Development of oil fields
- Development of offshore oil and gas fields
- Logistics, transport and storage of oil and gas
- Oil and gas chemistry
- Industrial safety and labor protection
- Engineering and applied mechanics in the oil and gas complex
- Economics and management in the oil and gas industry
- Hydrogen industry and renewable energy sources
- Organizational and legal support of the fuel and energy complex
