It follows from the document that in April 2023, investigators of the GVSU of the Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case on a particularly large-scale fraud against unidentified persons, as well as the heads of two enterprises - Radio-Navigator LLC; and LLC NPP Muromsky Radiopribor. The latter is the official supplier of communication systems and other equipment for the Navy and other law enforcement agencies of Russia. And "Radio Navigator" is the official dealer of JSC "Murom Radio Plant" and has the exclusive rights to sell the VEGA VG-304 portable river range radio. Law enforcement officers have suspicions that under the guise of the latest Russian developments, Chinese tablets are being supplied to the FSB border service, intended for civilian needs. At the same time, these devices were paid for at an inflated price. During the investigation of the case, there were grounds to believe that Kafanov and his colleague were involved in this scam.
