In Russia, work continues on the creation and support of new centers of technological development of the country. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a resolution defining the conditions for providing state support to technology parks operating in the field of high technologies.
The main of these conditions – practical implementation by resident companies of scientific, technical and innovative developments in the production of industrial products, as well as the introduction of new products, technologies and services to the market.
Within the framework of state support, technology parks can count on partial reimbursement by the state of the costs of creating, modernizing or reconstruction of infrastructure facilities. The amount of such compensation is calculated based on the taxes and customs duties paid by park residents.
The signed resolution is necessary for the implementation of new norms of the Federal Law "On Industrial Policy in the Russian Federation". They made it possible to form a legal basis for the creation and development of technology parks in the field of high technologies. The new version of the law was adopted by the State Duma at the initiative of the Government in June 2023.
