Schlumberger stops deliveries of products and technologies to the Russian Federation

On July 17, 2023, Schlumberger oilfield service company published a press release on its activities in Russia

Schlumberger announces the termination of the supply of products and technologies to Russia from all Schlumberger enterprises around the world. We are doing this in response to the ongoing expansion of international sanctions. These measures stem from a previous ban on shipments to Russia from the US, UK, European Union and Canada.
Starting in March 2022, Schlumberger has taken voluntary measures to reduce its activities in Russia. We have announced that we will not make new investments in Russia and will not introduce new technologies. Since then, Schlumberger has continued to dedicate significant resources to ensure compliance with international laws. We take compliance with export control laws and economic sanctions very seriously. Schlumberger supports the international community by condemning and calling for an end to the SBO in Ukraine.
